Sertraline is an analogue visual diary comprising 680 self-portraits, photographed over 680 days from 2017 – 2019. The project is based on a personal diagnosis of depression and documents the course of the illness and the slow process of recovery. Conceptual in its form, the work presents two years in the life of an individual, while simultaneously asks universal questions about existence and normality, and touches on the relationship between private and public.
