The Artist as a Waitress

In The Artist as a Waitress, the artist is your servant and as such the actions that the waiter and the artist perform, which are not normally given value, are highlighted. The performance is motivated by personal experiences of poor working conditions and unskilled side jobs for minimum wage.
Throughout the piece, you can experience different choreographies such as: A common and rehearsed action, where the waiter moves around carrying a stack of signed plates, as well as: A careful session, where the artist concentrates on folding personal rejection-napkins, which are then distributed to the cafe's guests. Additionally, during the performance, various texts are recited, formed as one-way communication directed at the audience.
